Trading Step 1 : Freight Rates Inquiry

Mandatory

  • 1Place of Departure : Enter Korean or English name or UN Location Code, or click the icon to search.
  • 2Place of Arrival : Enter Korean or English name or UN Location Code, or click the icon to search.
  • 3Departure date is defaulted on the day of inquiry and can be changed to your desired date
  • 4Enter the quantity by each container type (20’, 40’ respectively).

Optional

  • 5Enter the arrival date
  • 6Choose your desired carrier. If not selected, it search for all carriers
  • 7Select a freight payment term (All - in Rate, CIF,FOB SHPR, FOB CNEE).
  • 8Enter the cargo weight. (Mandatory for heavy cargo)
  • 9Select DRY / Reefer / DG. If not selected, it will be displayed for general (DRY) cargo
  • 10Click the [Search] button.
  • 11Schedules and freight rates that meet the conditions is displayed. Click the + button to view the schedule details and cost details
  • 12Click [Booking] on the right side to move to booking screen.

  • 1When searching after entering required information, if there is no freight rates that meets the conditions, a pop-up message will appear.
  • 2Click [OK] to go to the “Multimodal Transport”.

  • Commodity information is mandatory.
    - Enter the Korean name / English name / HS code manually or click the search icon.
    - If you enter an item in [Commodity Inquiry] and search on the pop-up window, the relevant commodity name is displayed. Click on the commodity name to close the window.
    - The commodity column shows the one you clicked.

  • 1Contact/Customer Information
    - The information entered when you registered is automatically entered.
  • 2The entered contact information is automatically interfaced to Booking for shipping by selecting the option of the “Copy to”. In other words, when [Shipper] is clicked, it is interfaced to the shipper of the Booking. If [F / Forwarder] is clicked, it is interfaced to F / Forwarder. If you click [Consignee], it is interfaced to Consignee. You can modify it if you need to.

    It shows the vessel information that you inquired in Booking Request.
    * Not changeable.
  • 2Container Information
    It shows the contents that you inquired in Booking Request.
    - You may change container type. (Freight rates change by container type)
    - Gross Weight is mandatory. So you need to enter even estimated weight.
    - Special Cargo : Put a check mark[tick] in the column that applies to the cargo in case of dangerous or reefer cargo.
  • 3 Pick Up Information
    Enter pick up information of empty container for loading.
  • 4 Payment Instruction
    It shows estimate freight cost. If the container type / quantity is changed, the freight cost may change accordingly.

    Enter the required information such as temperature, humidity and genset.
    ※ Booking Status
    When submitting a booking request, its status is showed as ‘Waiting’ and will be changed to the ‘Firm’ status upon completion of the approval by the shipping company.
  • 2In case of Dangerous Cargo
    Enter the required information such as UN No., Class, Flash Point, and Packing Group

    Booking information created so far is temporarily saved.
    - Go to My Booking
    (Booking Status : Temporarily saved) If you want to modify it, click Request No.

Response to VoC

  • 2The status appears as “Receipt” before an administrator’s review.
  • 3Information approved by the administrator is marked as “Registered”.
  • 4Click the title of the registered knowledge information to view the administrator's comment.
    ※ When registration is completed, 100 points will be awarded. This can be found in My Page > "My Point".
  • 5If the data is previously registered or if the data has insufficient value, it may be rejected. Click on the title to see the reason for the refusal.
